Some of the U.S. weapons flowing to rebels in Syria are bound to fall into the hands of Islamic extremists, say analysts and a retired Army general just back from touring the country.

Commanders told Gen. Vallely that they think the CIA-delivered arms will fall into the hands of the “wrong elements” before any reach secular Free Syrian Army brigades in and around Aleppo, Syria’s largest city and economic center.
Brotherhood ‘pawns’
Frederic Hof, who was a special adviser on Syria to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, supports Gen. Idriss as the best way to get arms to the right people. He said food and medical aid have been delivered through the general’s staff. The U.S. has tracked the shipments and believes the supplies ended up in the right places.
Still, Mr. Hof, now an analyst at the Atlantic Council, concedes: “There is no 100 percent guarantee that every single thing is going to get to its intended source. I don’t think even UPS can do that. These extremists are already armed to the teeth. I don’t want to sound blase about it. It is a big issue. We’ll shoot for 100 percent, but our chances of getting it in a situation like this are not too good.”
James Russell, a former Pentagon official who focused on foreign arms sales, said history shows that when U.S. officials introduce weapons into a foreign war, those arms come back to bite them.
“I don’t know how we could possibly categorically state that the arms we provide will only remain with the groups we are supporting,” said Mr. Russell, an instructor at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Calif. “War is chaotic and confusing. We are not there to provide oversight.
“There’s a long history to this, of course. American arms provided with the best of intentions to our erstwhile allies in Afghanistan, Vietnam and Iraq found their way into the hands of our enemies. I don’t expect Syria will be any different.”
Gen. Vallely founded the nonprofit group StandUpAmericaUS.org. One of its top projects is to persuade the Obama administration to order airstrikes to bring down the Assad regime, which launched a poison gas attack Aug. 21 that killed more than 1,400 in a neighborhood near Damascus. He has submitted a target list to the Pentagon.
He said Free Syrian Army commanders told him that some factions under the Supreme Military Council are “pawns” of the Muslim Brotherhood. The murky Islamist network has made a top priority of capitalizing on the chaos in Syria, especially since military leaders in Egypt are trying to destroy the movement there through attacks and arrests.
The oil-rich emirate of Qatar, which funneled hundreds of millions of dollars to keep the Muslim Brotherhood in power in Egypt, has sent huge cash payments to various rebel groups in Syria, Gen. Vallely said. Where one finds Qatari money, there is also the Muslim Brotherhood, he said.
“The Muslim Brotherhood is a grand mafia,” he said. “They’re the smart guys. They’re planning everything. They’re getting the money.”
Hodgepodge of factions
Gen. Vallely said the best policy for getting arms to the right units is to assign the task not to Gen. Idriss but to another Syrian defector, air force Col. Riad al-Asaad. Gen. Vallely met Col. al-Asaad in Turkey, where the rebel leader is recovering from war wounds.
Obama administration representatives would not publicly discuss the arms shipments’ destination.
The administration previously designated the Supreme Military Council to receive nonlethal aid in the form of food and medical supplies. Former officials say the council also is handling the U.S. lethal aid, which consists of small arms and ammunition. President Obama, under pressure from hawks in Congress, reversed course in June and decided to arm anti-Assad forces.
The Combating Terrorism Center at West Point has studied the Free Syrian Army, and its latest analysis is not reassuring. Rather than anything resembling a cohesive armed force, the Free Syrian Army is a hodgepodge of fronts, militias and factions.
“The FSA has always been more of a brand name than an actual organization,” the report says.
Of the year-old Supreme Military Council and Gen. Idriss, it says: “There is no evidence that it functions as a conventional military organization or that Idriss enjoys real control over member factions. To the contrary, member groups retain their separate identities and operational autonomy and proclaim loyalty to their own commanders.”
The council’s single largest coalition is the Syria Islamic Liberation Front, which comprises more than 20 rebel groups. They include the Islamist Tawhid Brigade, which claims about 30 subfactions, the West Point study says.
Another Supreme Military Council-sponsored fighting unit is the Durou al-Thawra Commission, which was set up in part by the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood.
Mr. Hof, who held the rank of ambassador in the Obama administration, endorses the policy of making Gen. Idriss the dispenser of arms.
“Unless we get into this business in earnest, we’re going to see things gravitate more and more toward radicals who have received a good deal of money from private sources from the Gulf, and who because they have the money and have the arms are able to attract young Syrians who want to be in the fight who don’t necessarily have anything to do or any attractions toward an al Qaeda-type philosophy,” Mr. Hof said.
He added: “The people with the resources have a certain magnetic quality in a situation likes this. This is why we have to make sure Idriss has the resources. If people inside the country see him as the exclusive source of everything coming in from the outside, I guarantee you we will begin to see a Free Syrian Army that actually has a chain of command, command and control, and all the other attributes of a normal military force.”
Gen. Vallely said Col. al-Asaad and other Free Syrian Army commanders have one main request for the U.S. — launch airstrikes against the attack helicopters and jets that keep the Assad regime in power.
“With that and logistical support, they will bring Assad down in 30 days,” he said.

Greek public sector workers have gone on strike for the second time in a week, shutting down schools and leaving hospitals with few staff, as inspectors from Greece's foreign lenders checked if the country was meeting its bailout targets.
Workers employed from municipal police to teachers began a 48-hour strike on Tuesday to protest government plans to cut thousands of public sector jobs as required to continue receiving international loans.
ADEDY, the public sector umbrella union, organised the walkout claiming government efforts to reduce the 600,000 strong civil service sector was “the most merciless plan” to eliminate workers’ rights.
The Greek government has dubbed the plan as a “mobility scheme”, meaning workers will have to find work in other departments within eight months or be laid off.
The workers say the government is firing them indiscriminately at a time when Greece is enduring record unemployment.
"We call on the workers ... the self-employed, the unemployed, the pensioners, the youth and everyone affected by these policies to give their resounding presence," ADEDY said.
Various groups, among them teachers, municipal police and doctors, are planning to march towards main Syntagma Square in Athens, later on Tuesday.
More bailout, more protests
The trio of the country's European Union, International Monetary Fund and European Central Bank began their review this week and are due to visit Administrative Reform Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Tuesday.
The latest review by the lenders, which previously bailed out Greece with more than 240bn euros, will determine the size of a third bailout to keep the country afloat.
In light of the recent news on cuts unions have stepped up protests, backed by anti-bailout opposition which called for citizens to overthrow the government.
Scores of municipal police dressed in black staged a mock funeral in Athens on Monday marching somberly behind a hearse across the city centre, carrying wreaths and singing psalms.
The latest labour action has also turned into a protest to mark the fatal stabbing of Pavlos Fissas by a self-proclaimed supporter of the far-right Golden Dawn party last week.

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, a Tea Party favorite, took his fight to defund President Barack Obama's healthcare overhaul to the Senate floor on Tuesday, but most of his Republican colleagues refused to join him.

In fact, a majority of the 46 Republicans in the Senate may end up lining up instead with their party leaders, who want to pass an emergency spending bill by September 30 that would avoid a federal government shutdown and would undercut Cruz's high-stakes effort to stop Obamacare.

Standing in a nearly empty Senate, Cruz began an attention-grabbing speech in the early afternoon Tuesday that could stretch into Wednesday in favor of withholding funds to operate the government unless Obamacare is gutted.

"I intend to speak in support of defunding Obamacare until I am no longer able to stand," said the freshman Texas senator who has his eye on a 2016 run for president.

He went on to talk about his father "flippin pancakes," making "green eggs and ham," "the travesty of Obamacare," and, proudly, about his unpopularity among many fellow Republicans.

Practically every day, he said in his marathon speech, "I now pick up the newspaper to learn what a scoundrel I am."

It had the look and sound of an old-fashioned "filibuster" used traditionally by senators to block legislation, except that in this case, it won't.

Under Senate rules, Cruz must yield the floor for a procedural vote on Wednesday when Democrats and many Republicans are expected to band together to begin moving the must-do spending bill toward passage, likely on Sunday.

It will then go back to the House, which will have one day to pass the bill or find a compromise with the Senate. Unless new funding is quickly approved, a government shutdown would begin on Tuesday.

Republicans uniformly want to repeal Obamacare. But many see that as a political impossibility in the face of Democratic opposition and do not want to trigger a government shutdown in a battle that even Cruz has acknowledged is futile.

For the most part, Democrats sat back enjoying the display of a Republican in a dog fight with other Republicans.

Cruz has a following however. Club for Growth, a conservative group influential among Republicans, put senators on notice that it expected them to support Cruz's bid and block Democrats' from eliminating the provision to defund Obamacare.

But his fellow Republicans were moving in the other direction one day after the party's top two leaders in the Senate, Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn, refused to lend their support to Cruz.

Senator Orrin Hatch, the senior Republican on the Senate Finance Committee that oversees Obamacare, announced he would side with McConnell rather than Cruz.

Senator Lindsey Graham said he expects a majority of the Senate's 46 Republicans will reject Cruz's high-stakes maneuver that has been embraced by the Republican-led House of Representatives.

"I think most Republicans believe, no matter how sincere you are about defunding Obamacare, that this approach would blow up in our face," Graham told Reuters in a brief hallway interview on Capitol Hill.

A government shutdown could ruin the party's chances of winning back control of the Senate in the 2014 elections.

At the urging of Cruz and other legislators aligned with the anti-government Tea Party movement, the Republican-led House of Representatives passed the bill providing government funding but without money for Obamacare. Passage came on a party-line vote on Friday.

Since Cruz launched his bid, Republican senators and their aides have been unusually candid in their impatience with him, laying bare a deep split within the Republican Party.

"We will end up not shutting the government down and we will not defund Obamacare. That's how the movie ends," Republican Senator John McCain of Arizona told reporters.

As the Senate slowly moved through a debate that likely will lead to passing a government funding bill by Sunday, House Republicans continued to weigh their options once they receive the Senate's work.

Some congressional aides have said that a new round of House amendments were being weighed, possibly including one to repeal an unpopular medical device tax aimed at generating $30 billion in revenues over a decade to help pay for Obamacare subsidies.

SENATE PASSAGE POSSIBLE SUNDAY

The Senate is expected to pass a new bill by Sunday. It would then be returned to the House for concurrence. The chamber could then approve the Senate version or try to amend it - but would only have a day or so before current government funding expires.

At this point, it is unclear what the House Republican leadership would decide to do, generating plenty of questions and anxiety.

House Republican leaders have not informed rank-and-file members what the final stage of the fight over the spending bill will look like, according to an aide to one junior Republican.

"First and foremost, he doesn't want the government to shut down," the aide said, though adding that the lawmaker was under intense pressure from conservatives back home to stop Obamacare.

"He is definitely stressed," the aide said.

Once the battle over government funding bill is resolved, Congress will grapple with another fiscal crisis - a possible and unprecedented U.S. government default unless it agrees to raise the $16.7 trillion U.S. borrowing authority by sometime next month or early November.

Republicans are expected to place demands on any bill to increase the debt limit, including one to delay for a year implementation of Obamacare, now set to begin to kick in next month.

The Winds and the Rain and Snow

The scariest things I foresee for mankind to deal with likely are the winds and the droughts. Strangely enough, the rain and the snows are difficult but are also often a paradox as well. For example, the rains that hit Colorado recently cut off whole towns of people and all the people needed to be evacuated some for 6 months or more until roads are rebuilt into those areas. But the paradox here is that this same water was caught by by dams and lakes will keep the people alive in those areas for the next year too.

So, actually it is the high winds and the long term droughts that are more serious for all life forms throughout the world. Some people are going to survive rains and floods and severe snowstorms which also bring much needed water. However, winds above 100 mph and droughts lasting a year or more are going to cause people and cattle and farm animals and farmers to go bankrupt and to possibly move to another complete area to resettle which might devastate some areas on earth by everyone moving away and leaving some areas of earth basically abandoned.

Then the winds. When you have winds above 100 mph any time of year trees are going to come down. sometimes bushes and houses or parts of houses are going to blow away etc. So, high winds once a year or many times a year will inevitably change life in all areas of the world where this happens.

And as winds and droughts increase together in some areas this means blowing dirt and sand at 100 mph or more which is very difficult to walk through without covering your mouths with cloth or masks and is very difficult even to stand up in let alone to walk in.

What can you do to survive the uncertain future of life on Earth?

I think getting straight with yourself is very important. Some people will be healed by visiting or in some cases even moving to the wilderness somewhere on earth where they feel safe, and healed by the weather and climate and place.

By developing your gifts in such a place or in visiting such a place for a time you will renew yourselves for what comes in the future. The more tuned in you are to the movements of nature in weather and storms and earth changes in earthquakes and volcanoes, the more likely you and all you love will have a chance to survive too. It has always been this way for thousands and thousands of years.

How do you think people and tribes of people survived all this sort of thing before weather satellites for thousands and thousands of years already?

When Friends Die

My wife told me today she finally was able to speak with her 95 year old stepfather. His biological kids had sort of been protecting him since his 14 year girlfriend (about 80 years old) had passed away. They were very afraid for him and protective of him even though he has not lost any mental factulties even at 95 though he walks with a cane and has a pacemaker. So, today she finally could talk to him to see if he was all right. We had encouraged him to date when my wife's mother passed away in 1999. Especially because he didn't believe in God so this made it even more important for him to date other ladies in order for him to want to stay alive. So, this is a terrible loss for him at age 95. But he has a brother still going strong at age 99 so maybe he can weather this too.

We likely will attend her funeral in the next week sometime in southern California, but I could hear the serious relief in my wife's voice that she finally was allowed to talk to him and to know his mental faculties at least were still intact.

I think there are at the very least somewhere between 40,000 and 80,000 people over 100 now in the U.S. and this will double between now and 2020 at least. If I'm lucky I will be one of them too around 2050

When your kids grow up

On the one hand you are really happy they are all grown up. But, on the other hand you miss your children being so happy to discover new things and being able to teach them amazing things about the world. As your children are growing up you get to grow up again too in some ways. So, it can be a very healing process which makes you much wiser growing up a 2nd time with them.

On the other hand I liked it a lot being able to take my then 21 year old daughter to France along with my then 14 year old daughter. I think going to Paris and Nice, France was one of the best trips we all took together. My younger daughter gets a couple of weeks off of her prep school in a "Fall Break" because they start very early in August. This allowed us 10 days off to take trips around the world for several years. However, now my 21 year old is 24 and is working and so is her boyfriend. So, trips like we took with them when she was 22 to England and Scotland this time of year are likely no more at least for my older daughter's boyfriend as he has started his career. (which is a good thing in the long run). But, as far as us traveling the world with them it is a bad thing for me and my wife.

Also, this 10 day off experience in early October this year will probably be spent with my 17 year old going to visiting colleges in Southern California since we already spent 3 weeks and way too much money escorting her and 3 of her friends to most of the colleges between Ashland, Oregon and Seattle Washington already this summer. That was way too much estrogen for me even on a good day. So, when I started to have heart problems from all the stress in Portland I went off to Mt. Hood with my older daughter and her boyfriend over a weekend.

This last time in Portland it was mainly bringing up heirloom furniture to furnish their new 2 bedroom apartment. So, this is one of the first times I have ever stayed where they lived. Mostly it was because it wasn't convenient before. However, I found myself to be too stressed by the new situation to be able to fully enjoy it. Because it was in my face of how both my daughters have grown up and even my oldest one now is likely less often to ski with me than before because of all her new responsibilities and the responsibilities of her boyfriend too.

Same with my oldest son who is now 39 and who lives too far to drive to visit easily. He is busy teaching English and has a new girlfriend and I try to skype with him whenever he is available to do that. But, now even my 17 year old is getting ready to go to college in fall 2014 and I wish all my kids were still young enough to just throw them in the car and drive somewhere fun or hop on a plane together and just go to Hawaii. Maybe one day soon?

Renew yourself in the Wilderness

The problem with living in the big city or even sometimes in suburbs is that you can become a metaphorical Vampire or Succubus because the city tends to suck out your heart and soul and you are sort of left being a soul less being.

In order to counteract this effect which to a greater or lesser degree happens to almost everyone it is important to take the time to renew yourself in the wilderness. I think there would be many less suicides and murders if people just took enough time with themselves in the wilderness and there alone with God if they believe in God.

One can get to know oneself and God better in nature and wilderness than any other place.

For example, when Jesus was preparing for his three years of teachings what did he do?
He went on a 40 day fast in the wilderness to prepare himself.

What did Buddha do when he wanted to become completely enlightened?

He sat in meditation under the Bodhi Tree in Bodhgaya, India until he became enlightened.

Both of these masters knew what to do to prepare for their time here on earth.

As a result we have two of the greatest spiritual teachers that have ever lived on earth.

IT is in our enlightened best interests to prepare for what is coming now too.

Or if you are just so angry and enraged and just can't take it anymore go to the wilderness to calm yourself down so life makes a little more sense.

One of the ways I stayed alive from 1969 until I married and had a son in 1974 was to go to the wilderness whenever I could alone or with friends to commune with God. In this way I avoided suicide and my own physical death and the suffering this would have caused my parents, friends, and girlfriends at that time.

If you are gifted especially this is even more important so you stay alive to help mankind survive what is coming now in this century and beyond. Those who can see what is coming are necessary so some people can survive it and help people be okay in all the centuries to come.

More regarding the Golden City

The Golden City is a City not in the physical world but equally as real as the physical world. If you are intuitively gifted likely you will feel it or see it if you come to Mt. Shasta and drive to Bunny Flats or Panther Meadows or hike up the mountain alone or with other spiritually motivated friends.

Some might call it a "Heaven Realm". Christmas Vacation 1970 I saw it for the first time when I was in a "White Out" on Mt. Shasta.( I think I was shown this in case I froze to death to send my soul there.) I was with my two college buddies that night in a white out on Mt. Shasta. Though all the joints of my body hurt for about 2 years after that near death experience we survived by digging a snow cave. If you dig a snow cave in a white out and have enough equipment the temperature stays between 45 and 55 degrees Fahrenheit in the snow cave. You don't want to raise the temperature above that (don't lite more than a candle for warmth) and even then make sure you have enough oxygen to breathe. IF you raise the temperature above 55 degrees it will turn into a waterfall inside the snow cave and make things worse.

The next morning in 1970s Christmas vacation our Levi jeans were wet from melting snow in the snow cave but luckily the white out had ended so we could navigate and it was in the 20s Fahrenheit which froze our pant legs solid except for the knees because we were walking on snow shoes. This created a "dead air" space so we didn't freeze to death walking back to our car (my college vw 1966 bug then). But when we reached our car all I could see was the aerial because five feet of powder snow had fallen. Luckily, we could hear a large 7 foot tall (or taller) truck snow blower going to the now defunct old ski lodge then. The snow blower clearing the road saved our three lives that day.

Also, if you are a soul traveler like me you might be allowed to visit it depending upon your motivations. I began to pray to become a soul traveler after Archangel Michael and his archangels appeared to me at age 2 and healed me of whooping cough which I was dying from at the time. I wanted to be like the Archangels and soul travel all time and space and beyond time and space. I began to be consciously successful at this beginning in the late 1960s and early 1970s. I have soul traveled all my life like all people do but I didn't have much control over it until my late teens and early 20s when I began to become more proficient at it every year. Motivation is everything if you want to become a conscious soul traveler. If your motivation isn't perfect or almost perfect you will not survive conscious soul travel. So, first perfect your motivations as a soul pilgrim and soul traveler so you don't physicall die when you go out to all spaces and times and beyond them into heaven realms.

I just returned home from Mt. Shasta and haven't slept yet. So even though it is 1:53 Am in the morning I feel I must try and share what I experienced this time in Shasta in some form that might be healing and help give you some peace in your life during these dangerous times here on earth.

Jonathan and the Golden City

To describe what the Golden city is, it might be useful if you know about Shambhala. Shambala is a legendary city or dimension where Tibetan Buddhists want to go(and many many others) that is connected to earth sort of like a heaven realm. To Tibetan Buddhists it comes in part from receiving the Kalachakra Initiation hopefully by the Dalai Lama which I received along with my family in December 1985 in Bodhgaya, India along with about 500,000 others from around the world. All three of my children then aged 10 through 14 received this initiation as well as I.

The Golden City is sometimes associated with Shambhala and Mt. Shasta but also sometimes is associated with Lemuria which one could also associate with Shambhala. and Mt. Shasta is thought to be a historical Lemurian library by many people and the rocks of the mountain are the storage device for the library. So the easiest way to become part of the knowledge is to put a rock from Mt. Shasta under your pillow and to go to sleep if you are interested. Some people believe this and some don't. It is entirely up to you what you believe.

I have had several different experiences with "The Golden City" as an intuitive during my life. It is a surprise to me that I learned more these past 4 days than I learned the previous 62 years of my life. I think this was because of the dire need of mankind at this time in the history of the human race. This is my present belief.

Jonathan: "I feel like I'm in Heaven" he said to his daughter who had driven down from Oregon to meet him at Bunny Flats on Mt. Shasta. "There is no one here but us and the snow looks like miniature balls of snow. They seem alive." Jonathan's adult daughter seemed radiant and alive in a very special way right now. Her glowing red hair caught the sun as the clouds blew away to reveal the beautiful snow covered mountain. The snow had been coming down for several days and nights now and as the clouds lifted it revealed not only the mountain but the mostly untouched snow that glinted in the late afternoon sun. His daughter fell down to the side of her cross country skis trying to take a picture. So she got a shot up close of the amazing miniature snow balls, thousands of them.

Later they skied down Bunny Flats back to the car. The snow reached about 12 feet high on either side of the parking lot. But with metal edged mountaineering skis or snow shoes it could be traversed so they had this day with their skis.

Jonathan's daughter asked him to tell the story of how in 1970 he had almost frozen to death on the mountain and how he had seen "The Golden City" and knew if he died this was where his soul would have gone. She asked, "Where is the Golden City now. Jonathan's gifts from God were based in their most powerful forms upon the prayers of others. So when she asked this Jonathan's sight automatically opened and he looked for "The Golden City" but it wasn't where he expected it to be and so he was surprised at this. But then he started to laugh. He laughed because it became clear to him that for some reason "The Golden City was interfacing with Bunny Flats itself. But then he became scared because it reminded him of the heaven realms coming closer to earth as a precursor to all the 250,000 people dying in the 2004 Tsunami in Indonesia and the Indian Ocean. No sooner had this fear come to him but a voice from the Golden City said, "Not necessarily". This meant that more people weren't necessarily going to die like did then. Immediately, Jonathan felt incredibly relieved at this news.

He laughed again that the Golden City was right here interfaced with the two of them. He was amazed that the sun was setting and no one else was here but his daughter and he.

It made sense why his daughter and he had been feeling like they were in heaven the past hour or more while being up at Bunny Flats. However, it began to get colder there and the temperature was now between 20 and 25 degrees Fahrenheit. And since they weren't skiing and generating heat in this way they decided to get into the car and turn the engine and heater on to keep warm as the temperature dropped. But Jonathan's natural inclination to drive down was stopped by his daughter. She said, "Let's stay here. Look at the moon and I want to experience the Golden City more."

Being now 62 years old his idealism had long been replaced with pragmatism which everyone gets to who survives until 62 or more years old in still in control of their lives. But still he remembered how it felt to be in his early twenties with so much love and enthusiasm for life like his daughter, so he listened to her even though his body wanted to go down the mountain, take a shower and relax.

But so many amazing things had happened today. He thought about how much more quickly than he did his daughter was moving forward spiritually. He had had to suffer so much to get where he was in life. But she seemed to be sailing forward without as much struggle and effort as he had had to put into it all. It was like she was standing upon his shoulders and talking to God. Jonathan liked this way of looking at it. It made perfect sense.

Finally, after 1/2 hour to an hour she asked him to "Om" with her. She said, "How long has it been since you "Om'ed" with someone? Jonathan thought about it and said, "It's been since the early 90s since I have "Om'ed" much with other people. She said, "Om with me Dad." So they did for about 20 minutes or more. This seemed to be very powerful and they both felt much more in tune with the mountain and the Golden City and all it seemed to want to share with mankind during these difficult times on earth.

Eventually, Jonathan got it really strong to move down the mountain in the car. So he did. However, he was amazed that a finger or arm of the Golden city stayed around the car all the way to town. This was something he had never seen before. At this point he knew that humans were being given something very special. Some new dispensation was being given to mankind in blessing and help at this time of sadness on earth.

The next day, Jonathan's daughter returned north and he went south west towards his home near San Francisco but still the Golden city seemed to change everyone's lives as he passed by. It seemed to be blessing people all along the way. Even when he reached his home near San Francisco the Golden City was still there with him and in the heart and mind and being and around his daughter as well. A miracle had happened and his daughter and he had been blessed to be an ongoing part of it. Thank you God!

As he drove down the freeway towards home he felt the Golden City with him somehow. He felt it spread out to bless everyone for miles and miles around. At one point the sacred Golden Fire of the Golden City he saw surrounding the whole planet. He also watched people that were freaking out in their lives catch on fire from this "Golden City" fire and their upsetedness started to burn away right then so they could cope once again with their lives and move on. At one point Jonathan became afraid because a very powerful Being from the physical Sun came to him and said, "Why are you burning the earth with this golden sacred fire?"

Jonathan didn't know how to answer this so he asked his teacher Saint Germain what to do. Saint Germain said, "Tell him you are creating a special dispensation in order to save mankind from themselves." So, Jonathan said to the Solar Sun Leader "I'm trying to save mankind from the extreme suffering right now so they can better cope." The Solar Logo said, "I will help you." Jonathan couldn't believe what happened next, he saw the physical sun in spirit envelop the whole earth and increase and maintain this golden sacred fire around everyone and heal their bodies and souls with it's power and majesty and sacred essence. Tears came to his eyes in gratitude for this blessing for mankind. So all the way home he kept experiencing his Lexus as a Golden Flying Saucer and sometimes as a golden sphere about 30 feet in diameter moving along the freeways and hiways. He knew by the looks in the eyes of some people that they saw what he saw as well and were amazed.

Jonathan had noticed more since Padma and Arcane had turned him into Meridian in his first stages of being that his perceptions of the whole universe had changed remarkably as well as his gifts. There was a new form of integration of everything everywhere that hadn't existed in relation to his God Given Gifts before. He was noticing God's spiritual leaders were making themselves known to him more frequently. God's supernatural help was coming more and more to keep life on earth going in these times of extreme transition. Though to most people on earth life had gone completely "out of control" still God still seemed to have a plan for it all that was temporarily at least "Beyond" most people. This thought hit him in the stomach so he prayed deeply for all mankind and all the one's who were suffering from all the extreme changes on earth.

When Jonathan reached home on the Northern California coast about 1 mile from the ocean he could here the waves crash and the sea lions crying out as they do from time to time. It felt like the ocean and the sea lions were welcoming him home once again to the coast. But something was incredibly different this time. This time the Golden city had come with him. He looked internally and watched how it was now interfaced with the miles around his home. During the night he watched how the solar being who had asked him when he was driving south extend the "Golden Sacred Fire" of the Golden City all over the earth. Jonathan was amazed and grateful for this blessing for all mankind. He remembered how remarkable the Solar Logo was. He had said yesterday, "I will keep the golden sacred fire freeing the minds and hearts of mankind around the earth as long as necessary."

Jonathan now understood the fullness of this as being days, weeks months, years or even centuries. Jonathan was now completely amazed at the world that he lived in now that Padma and Arcane had turned him into a new and just born Meridian.

Later: August 7th 2012: I was rereading this and experiencing once again what my daughter and I experienced then around the time of the Japanese Tsunami and Earthquake and I heard the voice of the Solar Logo of our Sun say, "I'm still maintaining this as long as humans of earth need my help." I was amazed once again to be contacted by the Solar Logo who is in charge of the Sun of our Solar System. I am very grateful to the Solar Logo on behalf of mankind who is helping us in our hour of need.

Also, August 7th 2012:

I realized I should share with you the first time I saw the Golden city. It was Christmas Vacation from College in 1970 and two of my buddies were on college break in the snow of Mt. Shasta. We had been trying to walk with backpacks and snowshoes up to the Sierra Club Lodge but got caught in a white out where we couldn't see our hands in front of our faces and couldn't tell where we were or what direction we were going. We had no choice but to dig a snow cave with our snowshoes and spend the night where we were to stay alive. As I entered the snow cave my inner sight opened up and I saw the Golden City attached to the mountain. If you can imagine a city that reminded me of the Washington Monument with domes and pyramids around it attached by a line sort of like a floating ship at around 12,000 feet in altitude on the mountain at that time. Since I knew I had about a 50% chance of freezing to death that night or the next day I believe I saw the Golden City in case I died so I would know where to go with my soul during the night or the next day. However, even though all my arm, leg and finger joints hurt almost constantly for the next two or three years I survived that night and the next day and lived to tell about it. I was 22 when this happened.

More Regarding the Golden City

When I wrote all these articles it started with a question from my daughter which was something like, "When you almost froze to death in a white out near Christmas in 1970 you said you saw the Golden City". My answer was, "Yes. I realized that if I froze to death and died that night instead of survive like I did that that was where I was to send my soul." Then she said, "What did it look like?" I thought a moment and then remembered it quite clearly and said, "It was like a city tethered in some way to Mt. Shasta that was just floating there at around 12,000 feet or 13, 000 feet next to Mt. Shasta." Then since we were at Bunny Flats she said, "Where is it now?" For me as an Intuitive often someone's genuine need of some sort will turn on my gifts very powerfully, and I said, "It's not up where it was then." And I was sort of dejected because I couldn't see it with my inner eye. Then my daughter said, "Where is it now then?" And then I started to laugh because I began to experience it right there at Bunny Flats and it made sense to me because of all the people with snowmobiles, and skiers and snowboarders and Mountain Climbers and tourists of all kinds who come there and how they all would be blessed by the "Golden City" just being there at Bunny Flats. But then I got scared because it felt like it did for a moment just before the 2004 Tsunami that killed around 250,000 people in Indonesia, India, Thailand and on many islands then around Christmas 2004. But then, I got a message from one of the residents of the "Golden City" that everything was okay and that I was just experiencing the power of the Golden City. I was experiencing the combining of multiple dimensions. Because the Golden City is a Heaven Realm for some of the souls of some of the humans here on earth. Since there are thousands and possibly even millions of heavens around Earth (some of which I have experienced when God was teaching me when I was in my teens and twenties). God let me look into various heavens to teach me that there were thousands around the Earth or more. And every religion likely has hundreds or thousands of heavens also. And there are also highly individualistic heavens too. Anyway, I got it to share these buttons because I just realized that the heart problems I had last fall were just me having to increase my rate of vibration because of all the spiritual changes happening on the planet. For many many people (including me) it is spiritually adapt to the changes or just pass on. But, I am very grateful for the miracle of once again feeling 20 years younger after finding out I have been allergic to gluten all these years. Amazing to feel so young once again after all the heart problems since October. Thank you God! For giving me back my health and life once again!

Jonathan Flow: The Golden City Now Covers the Earth

Jonathan and the Golden City
Jonathan Flows childhood friend Richard had passed away in 2006. They had somehow stayed friends through thick and thin since Jonathan Flow was 6 years old in 1954. Richard was from a wealthy family and went to the same church as Jonathan's family had. Jonathan's family were put in charge of the church and were lay ministers there from 1954 until 1960 when Jonathan's mother's father had died. Though Jonathan's father still led the Violet Flame class on Wednesday nights, his mother decided not to be a minister in that way after her father passed away and she sort of had a temporary nervous breakdown from his passing. Jonathan fondly remembered how Richard's mother ran the Sunday School class and how during church they were asked to march down the aisles of the church while the congregation sang "Onward Christian Soldiers". And when they were asked to do the pledge of allegiance when he was 6 he always thought that instead of "And to the Republic for which it stands" was "under the elephant for which it stands".
He was about ten when he corrected this error in saying this by rote. He remembered Richard's mother trying to teach Jonathan and Richard and Bonnie about how to invoke the Violet Sacred Flame to burn away bad Karma so one could more easily move forward in life. Jonathan didn't want to put 4 foot high violet plastic around himself that the Sunday School teacher provided and ran into the men's bathroom instead. Richard was sent into the bathroom to retrieve Jonathan and asked Jonathan:"Jonathan, you have to come out and go back to Sunday School." Jonathan said, "No. I don't want to put that violet plastic around myself. That's stupid." Richard said, "I think it's stupid too. But you still have to come out because my mother is responsible for you while the church service is going on." This was kind of what Richard and Jonathan's relationship was like. Jonathan was always very intense and and taking risks and Richard was always making jokes and eventually talked Jonathan into going to college and got Jonathan interested in Philosophy and psychology because those things actually made some sense regarding what life was all about. And by the way Jonathan got pretty good at invoking the violet flame by the time he was about 10 or 12 years of age.

So, this morning when as Jonathan woke up, Richard was there. Richard, remember, passed away in 2006. So, Jonathan said, "Richard, this is the clearest I've seen you since you passed away!" Richard said, "I have helped you and the earth by helping you create the Golden City covering the whole earth."
Jonathan said, "I didn't know that Richard. Thanks."

Jonathan thought about how Richard was a conscientious objector during the Viet Nam War for religious reasons. But since Richard took this so very seriously, he became a teacher because of this and taught in the public school system as a dedicated teacher in a bad neighborhood of East Los Angeles his whole life as an atonement for being a conscientious objector during the Viet Nam War. So Richard didn't have to fight during the war or get drafted. Instead he taught underprivileged kids his whole life because he was raised rich instead.

So today, Richard had come and told Jonathan about his helping Jonathan to create the Golden City worldwide. He remembered thinking about how as a much younger man he had spoken to Richard about his philosophical spiritual idea that because of all the "Really developed" beings on earth that Jonathan thought that it was possible to create a "dream earth" or a "Heaven earth" so that even if earth blew up in a nuclear holocaust that no one other than the really developed metaphysicians of earth would actually know. Jonathan fully believed that this dream earth or heaven earth would seem just as real as the old physical earth that everyone had grown up on so that most people wouldn't know the difference.

So, The Golden City being now spread worldwide and maintained energy wise by the being sometimes called "The Solar Logo" or ruler of the Sun was a precaution for just such an event. So, even if earth blew up in the next 6 months to year from all these events, most people wouldn't know it, because earth would seem somewhat the same in the heaven realm it became.

Jonathan now understood why Arcane and Padma were in such a rush to make him become Meridian. Somehow once Jonathan was the Mahasiddha Meridian the Golden City could cover the earth as a precaution. Jonathan saw the reality of it all but didn't really understand the full why of it.

It was like his teachers had said, "At the level you must function now, Jonathan, if it ain't broke don't fix it, because no one fully understands how things operate scientifically past this level. They had explained how basically at this level and beyond things only work because you believe they do. And for that level of realization you all better aspire to be mahasiddhas.

Jonathan Flow is a character that I have written about since around 1980 or so. He was born around 1948 and is sort of my own alter ego. Arcane is also a part of this reality and is from around 1,000,000 AD from another planet, possibly even a future earth. However, he shares genetics with people of today right here in 2011 as some of his ancestors were colonists from Earth in 2400 to 2500 AD when they began to colonize other worlds because of overpopulation here on earth.

Are the prequels to this present work. However, the part I'm starting now I don't know if I have time this week to finish or not so this will be an experiment.

Begin:Jonathan Observes the Golden City Expanding

Jonathan usually gets pretty frustrated trying to talk to his daughter. She lives very remote so there is no cell signal. And since she now lives with her boyfriend on her mother's ranch (Jonathan's ex-wife) very remote in Oregon it is almost impossible to contact her and be able to speak with her. So, it is mostly emails and the like.

However, today (after waiting two weeks for a call) out of the blue Aurora called Jonathan. Things had been psychologically difficult for Jonathan in ways he didn't completely understand or was unable to completely satisfactorily explain to himself.

He had known things were very strange here on earth since the 9.0 Earthquake and tsunami really messed up Japan's North eastern part and killed at least 12,000 people so far for sure with another 15,000 or more still missing after the tsunami.

So, he sensed all these changes in the world and in people's psyches and a sort of "Is this the apocalypse?" and "What is next?" So, in a sense the whole world was in kind of a state of shock more or less because of Japan and all the governments collapsing in the middle east. And now Ivory Coast was next. So, Jonathan was very surprised by all this like the rest of the world. So, for Jonathan as an intuitive that was what was the strangest thing of all. As an intuitive he should have been much less surprised than he was. So, what did all this mean? If he was an earth based intuitive was there also such a thing as a galactic based intuitive that might have sensed these changes as well? Maybe, was his thought.

Anyway, he heard his IPhone4 ringing in the other room. And so he answered and his daughter was there. He should have been happy but in this particular moment this was just another very confusing moment among many confusing moments lately for most of the human race.

It was as if there were two simultaneous worlds happening at the same time that were interfaced somehow. And how did one get in sync with them both at the same time? Maybe it just wasn't possible. Or was it? He had to try at the very least.

Then he thought about the interface of the Golden City (a Shambhala type of realm) interfacing with all of earth. He participated in this interface so Life on Earth wouldn't suffer quite so much with all the changes. He knew intuitively that if earth was destroyed or blew up most people would be aware of it because of this interface. It was kind of like a "Safety Net" for life on earth to avoid "Death trauma" kinds of experiences if it came to that. So most people wouldn't know they were in the "Golden City" Heaven if Earth actually was gone. Jonathan realized that this was a good thing, even if he couldn't really explain it to most people where they would actually understand without freaking out.

Because of his Mahasiddha training, Jonathan had learned that basically "Life and death is the same". To most people this would be kind of a crazy way to think. But for Jonathan, since he scientifically understood both life and death, it was just a scientific fact that life and death were the same. So, really there was no rush to die because you were going to have to work there too, and you were going to have to face yourself and all the consequences of all your actions there to. So, being responsible to oneself and for oneself reduced pain in both locations as well as increasing happiness both places. Kindness to oneself and others also tended to greatly reduce the full amount of pain that one might experience also. So, it is in anyone's enlightened self interest to take really good care of oneself and all other beings. Because, after all, accountability for all actions while one is living or dead is a scientific truth.

Of course, there are all kinds of value judgments that different people of different religions might have regarding this accountability. But, to Jonathan, his experience firsthand was that compassion and motivation in regard to all thoughts and actions were actually the most important cause of positive or good karma. And generally, accidental harm to oneself and others, wasn't treated as badly as long as that person was not negligent in some way.

So, one of the best ways to have a good life is to be responsible for oneself and all life as one moves through life. By living conscientiously like this a type of living nobility could actually be achieved.

As Jonathan spoke with his daughter he found himself warming up to her even though she hadn't called since they each returned home from Mt. Shasta.

Jonathan asked, "Aurora. Is the experience we had regarding the Golden City still as real to you as it was then?"

Aurora:"Yes. Even more so. I'm meeting more people having the same kinds of experiences and they are even describing similar events to the ones we shared starting on Mt. Shasta."

Jonathan laughed and said, "The mountain really spooked me when I wasn't allowed to go up to Bunny Flats before you arrived there. They snow conditions looked fine but I almost crashed my car into the left snow bank on the road even though I had the wheels locked turning to the right with my 4 wheel drive on with the extra snow traction button on."

Aurora said, "I'm sorry you had to get spooked like that, Dad. I guess the mountain needed us to go there together to bring the Golden city down the mountain with us."

Jonathan said, "Yes. I was spooked for about 12 hours or more because my speedometer stopped working and my engine and ABS braking lights came on. So, it wasn't until the next morning that everything started working right again."

Jonathan went on, "So, people are actually describing what we experienced too?"

Aurora said, "Yes. Other intuitives are experiencing this worldwide interface of two worlds, with one of them being the Golden City Heaven realm."

Jonathan said, "I'm having a lot of difficulty interfacing with both worlds simaltaneously. They both operate slightly differently. So, it's kind of like trying to live on two planets on the same planet simultaneously. It's really quite strange at times."

Aurora said, "It just seems to be the way things are for now, Dad."

Jonathan said, "I guess so."

Jonathan said "Goodbye" and hung up the phone and wished once again his daughter lived nearby him. She was so much like his Dad with her ways of thinking and processing information and those steely blue eyes like his Dad had. He missed his Dad who had been gone now since August 1985.

Later that same week Jonathan realized his friend that he met when age 10 had died. Instead of feeling sad Jonathan felt incredibly relieved that his friend had passed over. His friend, (only 63) was a Viet Nam Veteran whose ashes would be buried in a military cemetary.

You see, the Viet Nam War had separated Jonathan and his friend for over 20 years because neither of them came back to their home town. Jonathan moved to San Diego and since Mike's Mom moved to Santa Barbara, after the war Mike moved there and bought a house. So there was no way to find each other then. Both of their lives in very different ways were turned completely upside down by 1969 and all the changes in the world. Jonathan often remarked later that 1969 was the single craziest year of my life. Nothing else comes close.

So, to make a long story short, Jonathan found Mike through his Yahoo email address through the yahoo search engine in the late 1990s. The last time they had had any contact was the summer of 1969 after having been friends since 1958 when Jonathan was 10 and Mike 11. They had built and rebuilt cars together, for cruising the Sunset Strip and street racing, flown gliders at El Mirage. Drove motorcycles and Dune Buggies through the desert, surfed and scuba dived at Malibu and Catalina and also surfed at Huntington Beach and snorkeled at La Jolla Cove. There were many adventures over the years all over California until Mike disappeared and was trained and sent to Viet Nam by the military. Both Mike and Jonathan fell down two different Gopher holes that hopefully lead to adulthood rather than death. Even 9-11 doesn't come close to how crazy those times were in some ways for Jonathan and Mike.

Jonathan didn't know Mike had passed away but noticed him hanging around in the spirit when Jonathan was buying a new 4 wheel drive truck. He heard Mike later say, "I was helping you get that truck, Jonathan. I'm sorry it was so hard on you after I got Alzheimer's in 2005."

Jonathan thought, "Pray for your dead and dying friends and they will pray for you after they pass on." He saw Mike nodding in the background.

Jonathan had long noticed that with each death of a close friend or relative that one dies a little with each of them. Each relationship you have with someone who is a close friend or relative is simply not replaceable. Many try but none really ever succeed in this. People are all sort of like apples and oranges, each of us are incredibly unique in every way. So, when you lose someone, you can't really ever replace them. But often to stay alive and sane one must always try.

It's snowing where I am now and the altitude is getting me a little bit but I think everything will turn out okay. I'm far away from home in another state and wish the altitude was about 5000 feet less than it presently is. But that is another story. Though my friend is gone my son and I are still alive and are on another road trip which hopefully will be useful to us both. Once again truth is stranger than fiction. That saying is my old friend my old standby saying. Life is amazing! Just when you think it can't get any more unusual than it is it does anyway. Sometimes it is fun just to live on to see what happens next in life.

note: As I was going to sleep last night at altitude far from home I was thinking about sharing how the Heaven realm sometimes called "The Golden City" appears to interface with the lives of mankind during these difficult times on earth. My experience of it is that when some people get to the point of getting a stroke or heart attack or a panic attack about their personal lives or the world, often as an intuitive I can watch them burst into golden sacred flame. Then I can see the ashes from them burning up fall to the ground around them and watch them become at peace as God gives them hope and frees them from their grief in their lives. So, the whole point of the "The Golden City" heaven realm surrounding earth at this time appears to be to offer hope and solace to those who have none. So, if you experience yourself spiritually bursting into flame, that is a good thing. It will relieve you at least for a time from your troubles and give you a new lease on life. Blessings. May you have the Peace of the Golden City to give you solace in your lives.

Jonathan and all the Changes

Jonathan Flow had had unusual dreams all night long. It was as if the universe was trying to tell him something. Then he woke up late Sunday Morning and his 15 year old daughter and wife were streaming a Netflix version of "Romeo and Juliet" with Leonardo Di Caprio on his widescreen flat screen TV in the living room. He thought about how this movie dovetailed in some ways with the two worlds here on earth he had been experiencing for several months now since his sojourn to Mt. Shasta and the Golden City with his 22 year old daughter on a skiing trip there from the Western Coast of California where he lived.

He thought logically about all the changes he had experienced the last several months of experiencing "The Golden City" at Bunny Flats on Mt. Shasta and of it following them down to the little city of Mt. Shasta, of then following him all the way home to the coast, of the Solar Logos (ruling plasma being of the physical and spiritual sun) sending a spirit copy of the Sun to empower the Golden City to become a "Heaven Realm that would interface with all of Earth as long as it was needed by everyone and everything that lived on and around Earth.

He then thought about how the "Heaven Realm" had spread from his affluent community on the coast all around the world. He wondered why he was a witness to this. Then of talking once again with his 22 year old daughter who was also an Intuitive and of how she was meeting people who were having experiences like this in Oregon as well.

But today, his mind was trying to ferret out more of the truth in regard to "What was real?" and "What was truly happening now on Earth?"

Often, in times like these logic might be helpful. So he decided to use critical thinking to separate fact from fiction. That would be a good start.

Okay, his daughter and he together had experienced all these things. Then his 22 year old daughter and her mother had gone on a Dolmen tour to Russia which had been a little upsetting that Jonathan wasn't the one(or one's) going with his daughter to Russia on this trip. Then, his childhood friend had died in Bakersfield and Jonathan had not been able to speak the day before the funeral because he was too upset. He heard his wife talking in the other adjoining hotel room there but he was just too upset at his friend's death. But the next day by God's Grace he was okay and able to be supporting to his best friend from Junior High through High School and beyond was laid to rest by his family and friends.

Then, he watched how after Osama Bin Laden had died the earth component of the two worlds "Heaven and physical earth) had suddenly disappeared leaving only a heaven realm of earth. So, logically one of two things had happened:

First, either the physical earth and the Golden City Heaven realm had blended.
Second, or the physical earth had disappeared somehow and left only the heaven realm of earth.
But thinking as a Mahasiddha does Jonathan asked the question:
If this is true why is there still death and strife upon the earth?
So, Jonathan looked deeper. "So", he thought, "then what we might be experiencing is some kind
of place that is neither physical nor fully spiritual in a completely idealistic way. What we all might be experiencing is a "Safe" Earth that was created because the last physical earth had to leave and possibly go somewhere else in space and time. He thought about this and liked the basic symmetry of it.

"Yes", he thought, "Though this world is now a heaven for those like me, it is also a testing place for many many others. God is wise in a way that is unfathomable to most beings. But how can this world be a heaven realm for me and a testing place for most others?" And he realized that the answer was very simply that God was unfathomable in his or her or the Beings infinite Wisdom.

Finally, Jonathan was beginning to have peace about all of this.

Then Jonathan got into his 4wd Truck and took off and started driving because intuitively this was what life seemed to want. Next, Arcane appeared in the passenger seat next to him and said, "Jonathan, why do you think I took you and put you in another body when I was about 17 years old on New Deva flying with the water dragons and why do you think I took you to visit Purple Delta 7 on the Galactic Time Guard training planet near the center of the Galaxy?"

Jonathan said, "Well. I've had some time to think about it now. And I've come to the conclusion that everything I think or feel now changes things."

Arcane: "Yes. That's part of it. But mainly I want you to be responsible for all your thoughts and actions waking and sleeping."

Jonathan: "But is that even possible for a human being?"

Arcane laughed and said, "A fully functioning Mahasiddha empowered by God or whatever you want to call it, The Force, the Dharma, The Buddha, whatever, is not exactly a human being at this stage of evolution."

Jonathan: "Then what is a Mahasidda at this stage of evolution?"

Arcane(Saint Germain) said, "At this stage of evolution a Mahasiddha might not be mortal anymore."

Jonathan: "I find that hard to believe."

Arcane: "That does not alter the truth of what I'm saying."

Jonathan: "I find what you are saying paradoxical."

Arcane: "Exactly."

Jonathan: "So how am I supposed to deal with you telling me that I am now immortal?"

Arcane: "Just accept it as fact and move on. That's the best way to deal with any paradox. What did you do with the almost infinite paradox of having lavender skin and telepathically talking to an riding on Water Dragons that fly through the air like flying fish on earth?"

Jonathan: "I really had no choice at that point other than to just accept it as fact and move on."

Arcane: "Exactly. So in the same way one deals with whatever the reality is of any moment by just accepting it and moving on. If one doesn't do that one is no longer functional and sometimes will die."

Jonathan: "So this is the secret of life in a sense. Just accepting the truth in any situation so one can move on in life."

Arcane: "Yes. Since all states of consciousness are impermanent accepting changes as they occur while being compassionate and wise to oneself and all others creates immortality both here and beyond."
