I had put this on my list of movies I wanted to watch at Netflix for some time now. However, it appears to be on Youtube for free to watch as well. It is amazing how Tesla and Edison changed the world with Edison giving us the incandescent light bulb and Tesla bringing us alternating current and fluorescent light and much more. So, if you get a chance to observe this movie it is not a blockbuster but rather more of a documentary of his life. But, what was accomplished has changed the world ever since. Even though Edison championed direct current and Tesla championed Alternating current we still use direct current for cell phones, flashlights, Ipads, and when your IMac is unplugged from the AC charger which is charging a DC battery.
But, Alternating current changed the world because it can be sent thousands of miles with very little line drop (loss of power) compared to DC which can't go very far at all without complete line drop. So, observing our history of things we use every day that didn't exist until the turn of the 20th century in 1900 or so makes all this amazing of what has happened since then to our world.
