If you look carefully at this map though it has burned a lot of National forest and private land it really hasn't burned that much into Yosemite National Park yet. Though it is near Hetch Hetchy Dam and reservoir that supplies most of the water in San Francico it hasn't been as much a of a problem for residents of San Francisco regarding water because some water was moved closer to San Francisco into other lower reservoirs to prevent harm to the water supply during the fire. Also, much of the fire will have to burn itself out eventually because a lot of it is in inaccessible areas with no roads and possibly some areas with no trails either accept for mountain Sheep and deer and other wild animals to visit. There are many cliffs and very vertical areas in this region that most people just don't go into much because it would be so difficult to get there unless you were dropped in by rope from a helicopter.
